CA Exam postponed due to ongoing floods in Assam. The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India has made an important announcement on 19th May 2022 with regard to CA Final Exam.
Due to the ongoing floods, District Disaster Management Authority, Silchar had issued an order directing all the educational institutions to remain closed for the next 48 hours. To comply with the Government order, ICAI announced that the CA exams held on 19th and 20th May will be postponed for Silchar region only.
CA exams scheduled to be held on 19th & 20th May 2022 have been postponed according to the ICAI latest news. In regard to this, Final exam, Group I, Paper 3, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics & Intermediate examination, Group I, Paper 3, Cost and Management Accounting were scheduled to be held on 19th & 20th May 2022 respectively.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is yet to release the new date for the CA exams that are postponed. For the latest CA news visit www.icai.org.
ICAI also made it clear that the CA exams are postponed only for Silchar (Assam) region. Furthermore, the institute added that there is no change in the examination schedule for other papers and cities. The Final and Intermediate exam schedule will be as per the announcement made on 21st Jan 2022.
